The Biomolecular Transport Engineering Laboratory is a research group at Carnegie Mellon University led by Professor Derin Sevenler.
We are engineers developing microscale and nanoscale technologies with the overarching goal of improving human health and longevity. We use theory, experiments, and computer simulations to study how engineered systems and living systems interact at the nanoscale, and then develop new technologies based on these insights.
Dr. Sevenler gave a seminar at the Experimental Pathology Division of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Welcome to Defne Elbeyli, a rising senior in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Delaware. Defne is visiting our lab this summer to study the rheology of biomolecular fluids.
Congratulations and welcome to Audrey China--she received the CHESS fellowship to conduct paid summer research in our lab. Welcome to the group Audrey!
